Every year on the 2nd Sunday in October, the Colomansfest takes place at St. Coloman's Church. This Schwangauer Fest is the largest religious festival in the region and it is one of the most important traditional festivals in Bavaria.

One of the most beautiful Christmas markets in Bavaria! Opening hours: daily from 12.00 to 20.00, Friday and Saturday from 12.00 to 21.00. Festive music is played on the Christmas market stage. Address: on the historic Kempten Town Hall Square (Rathausplatz).
Every year on the second Saturday in September, the large Pfrontener festival for the return of the animals from their summer alpine pastures ensures our guests a unique atmosphere. The program flow can be found here.
Come to Pfronten on the Saturday of the carnival and see how 200 courageous participants with their horn slides in Pfronten-Kappel fall down a 1,000 m long slope.
Skiing in Pfronten in the Allgäu: Ski center Pfronten-Steinach with modern snow-making technology, Hochalpe am Breitenberg, large fun park, for the little ones a Steinis Adventure Land, Pfronten ski school with a team of around 50 trained snow sports instructors; a total of 13 cable cars and lifts, over 20 km of slopes.

Respectively at 20:00 visitors can experience genuine traditions in Pfronten, right in the middle of Allgäu life such as the traditional evenings of local Jodler-, costume and music groups.
Mountain bikers can test their athletic skills at Pfrontener mountain bike marathon: The marathon route leads over 51 kilometers to Breiteberg. The 26-kilometer half-marathon has nevertheless still 840 meters. The route "Extreme" offers 76 km above 2,600 meters in altitude challenge!
Oldies meet to Gamsbartrallye, the international classic car meeting in Pfronten: already for the 29th time come Oldtimerfreunde to the classic car event in the Allgäu. Friday, the classic car enthusiasts meet to "Benzingeschwafel". Saturday starts the legendary Gamsbartrallye - with riders from five countries - by the Allgäu Alps and the Alpine foothills.
Every 2 years celebrate people in Pfronten on the grounds of the parish home in Pfronten-Ried the village and mountain Wiesenfest. The highlight of the weekend is the appointment of 10 Pfrontener mountain meadow queen.
Dirndl and Lederhosen, but also everything that goes with it: from the hat to the shoes and socks, fabrics and knitted, traditional costume jewelry in all shapes and colors for women, Folklore knife and Charivari for the men. Rare craft can be seen: Gamsbartbinder, Hirschhorn- and Edelweiss Schnitzer display their art.
